2018 will see the first TRIFF Film Trade Expo. The Polk County Film Initiative, host of the Festival, is excited to offer this opportunity for industry vendors, businesses, agencies and organizations to get in front of a highly motivated niche audience of filmmakers, industry experts and film buffs.

All submitted applications must be complete, signed, and include any required attachments and payment.
 
EXPO applications are due at the Polk County Film Initiative offices,
285 N. Trade Street, Tryon, NC 28782 by AUGUST 29th.

EXPO Exhibitor Rules & Requirements

Arrival & Check-in All exhibitors are required to access the festival area via Cowan Street and be checked in with festival staff upon arrival. A map of the festival and surrounding area will be enclosed with EXPO exhibitor packets and will outline the required ingress and egress route to access your space with supplies. Exhibitor Space Map (coming) 

 

Do not move or remove the traffic barriers in the festival area. There is no designated parking for EXPO exhibitors, and exhibitors may not park in designated handicapped areas without appropriate handicapped placards. 

 

Spaces The Festival provides spaces that are 7'x10' and 7'x20'. All materials and supplies MUST fit within this space. Additional spaces must be purchased if more room is required for your setup. If you have special requests or requirements in regard to space locations or ease of access, please contact Janet Sciacca. Free giveaways - no sales.

Electrical If you requested electricity for our exhibit a connection will be placed at your booth. Exhibitors are responsible for making sure their extension cords are of proper length, are properly plugged in and in working order. Free wi-fi available through PANGAEA.

 

Set-up and Take-down Fees are for both days only. Exhibitors may set-up from 9AM– Noon Saturday, but all vehicles must be parked appropriately by 11:30 AM. No exhibitors may access the EXPO area with vehicles for loading until after 6PM, and all clean up should be completed by 7PM both evenings.

 

Cleanliness and Final Clean-Up All exhibitors are required to bring their own containers for garbage and recycling, as exhibitors will not be permitted to use the public containers for their refuse. All exhibitors must maintain his or her area in a clean and neat manner throughout the festival, and complete a final clean-up prior to leaving the festival. Clean up must be completed by 7PM.
