Film submissions open to High School & College students in NC & SC who create a 1-2 minute film about something that brings them a sense of awe.
Free to enter.
$150 Cash Prize for 1 College + 1 High School Student

Join Linda Burns of the Atlanta Film Society for a mini-production assistant academy.
Open to High School & College Age Youth & Adults and VIP pass holders.
Maximum 50 Participants
A production assistant (PA) on a film set is an entry-level crew member who supports the production and keeps things running smoothly. Set PAs work under the guidance of assistant directors and interact with most departments on set, but there are also office, art, wardrobe, and post production PAs. Their responsibilities can include:
Assisting any department that requires additional help with loading and unloading, and setting up and tearing down
Assisting with paperwork, and going on runs for supplies and crew and cast meals
Handing out walkie talkies, keeping batteries charged, and keeping up with walkie inventory
Supporting the AD team, solving problems, taking great notes, and communicating with all departments
Handling petty cash, doing returns, and filling out milage and petty cash forms
Meeting the needs of all departments by providing customer service like support where needed
